Google's cool surprise this winter - let it snow

Just type 'let it snow' in the search box and wait few seconds to see it. For the techie's it's not a big deal to be able to do this, but it's a nice surprise to experience. It also provides an option to defrost- neat. Google continues to surprise us with these nice little Easter eggs, even in the Christmas season. Thanks google, keep going

My son's first few pics

My sweet wife Sirisha and the little lucky rockstar are doing fine.

RIA: Adobe's Squiggly

A good news for all the RIA developers working for text based solutions:  Adobe's “Squiggly.” is now available.

Squiggly is a spell checking engine for Adobe® Flash® Player and Adobe AIR®. The Squiggly library allows you to easily add spell checking functionality in any Flex 3 based text control.

The distribution package consists of a utility for building your own spelling dictionaries, a sample English dictionary, an Action Script package that checks individual words for spelling accuracy, and sample code that demonstrates “check as you type” functionality.

While the included UI class requires the Flex SDK, the core spell checking engine can be used in pure Flash applications without any dependency on Flex packages.

Why 'Decoction' ?

de⋅coc⋅tion[di-kok-shuhn]: An extraction of a flavor

So as the meaning goes, I intend to put from all the random extracts (=thoughts) of my mind. You can (not) expect anything from design to technical, from reviews to philosophies, from RIA to ARR.

This one for sure would soon form a random pattern :)

Thanks for joining the roller-coaster ride, an identity to this would soon follow.
